Phrax silently muttered a latrin curse for the other girl as her scent moved to disgust as she looked at him. Doubtless she had never hiked a day in her life. Nonetheless, he listened in on their conversation, singling out their voices with practiced focus, while not changing how he looked at all.
He began sifting through the scents, and quickly found the cause of his own uneasiness. He'd seen a few hybrids in his time, a small community in Germany during the 30 years war. They had attacked him after he revealed himself to be hunting Vampires. After fighting his way out, he had left a message at the local Army commander's desk, and the 7 families inhabiting the abandoned Castle Fruenhof were butchered. He killed them where neccesary, but his prejudice had died long ago. But the clear, pungent scent of a Wolf was best of all. Phrax's mind sparked at the smell of another Werewolf, but there was a subtle tinge that he was un-used too.

"Here, there," she said answering Leah's question. She wasn't about to be truthful with the girl. Not when she wasn't sure if she could trust her, and definitely not here with another werewolf so close by.
Then making a split decision, she asked Leah, "How familiar are you with the stories from other parts of the country?" she hoped Leah would pick up on the fact that she was talking about werewolf/vampire stories. She wasn't going to come right out and say it. The werewolf in the corner made her a bit uneasy and she wasn't about to go blurting the information for the whole restraunt to hear.

Nichita's question surprised Leah.
How familiar are you with the stories from other parts of the country?
"What do you mean?" she asked, "you mean, what do I know about werewolves?" She hesitated for a second, "and vampires?" She contemplated whether or not trust her, "well..." she decided to tell the truth, "I'm a werewolf for example," she tried to say this naturally, as if it didn't bother her at all, "and, who are you?" she demanded then.

Sighing, Nichita pulled a napkin and pen close to her.
My full name is Nichita Michella Peone. I traveled here from Detroit. If you know your stories, then you've heard of my family and what happened. That is all I'm willing to say right now.
She wrote on the napkin and then pushed it across the table to Leah.
"Don't say anything right now. I don't need anyone hearing or knowing," she said, "we can talk about it later when there's not so many ears eavesdropping on our conversation," she motioned towards the werewolf in the corner.
Sure, he wasn't obvious about it. But he was a werewolf and both of them had werewolf blood. It only made sense for him to be listening in.

Nichita wrote something on a napkin and gave it to her.

"Detriot, Detroit...," Leah was sure, she had heard something about werewolves or vampires in there, but couldn't remember what exactly...
Don't say anything right now. I don't need anyone hearing or knowing," she said, "we can talk about it later when there's not so many ears eavesdropping on our conversation
Leah nodded slihgty, this werewolf seemed really suspicious, Leah was almost 100% sure, that he listsened to their conversation. "Okay," she whispered, "Can't wait," She felt sudden urge to finish her meal and and so she cut the steak in halves and started to stuff them into her mouth really fast.

Nichita smirked at the renewed enthusiasm that Leah had in eating her food. "Whoa, slow down there," she chuckled, "we can still get stomach aches," she said while finishing up her steak and fries.
This girl seemed okay. Nichita felt herself coming to trust Leah more and more as each second passed. But the issue wasn't whether or not she trusted Leah, the issue was the instant hatred that she was predisposed to have towards half of Nichita. She had made the decision to tell Leah, and it would be nice to have someone around who knew her story. But she didn't want to think about the possibilities of how Leah would react when she found out.

"Whoa, slow down there, we can still get stomach aches"
Leah blushed. "Sorry," see mumbled, trying to swallow her potatoes, "Sometimes I get a little too exited." she explained and almost smiled to her. To her surprise, she felt that she kinda liked that girl. It had been a while since she had had a normal talk with a girl of or own age and it felt nice for a change. Especially, if this girl had mysterious past and unclear heritage. She didn't even care, that this girl didn't seem to be entirely werewolf.
"Well.. as long she isn't a bloodsucker..." she thought chewing her meat.
"Shall we go?" she asked, when the last piece of steak had finally disappered into Nichita's mouth.

Nichita nodded, "Yeah, let's go," she said.
She just hoped that Leah would hear her out and not hate her because of her blood lines. She couldn't help who she was, but she could control the way she acted. She could really use a friends now. She hadn't been close to anyone since Nakita disappeared, so it would be nice. She just hoped that Leah would understand.

Leah threw one last glance at this weird guy. "Another mystery to solve," she reminded herself, before heading to the door. The weather had changed almost drastically, as it was so usual for Forks. Rain had stopped and you could almost see a little bit blue in the sky. It was darker now, but Leah didn't mind, since Sam had imprinted on Emily, she even preferred it like that. "So...," she started, when they were out in the bustling street. "Do you want to go to park. It's usually empty at that time... No listseners.." She only hoped that this strange boy wouldn't follow them.

Nichita shrugged her shoulders. "Sure, why not? I do some of my best thinking while sitting on a swing," she said with a smirk.
Glancing behind her as they left the restraunt, she made sure they weren't being followed. Then she smiled at the weather. It wasn't raining anymore, so no chance of any surprise shows, and the sun wasn't quite out so her faint shimmer wouldn't show. The shimmer was an interesting thing. She didn't shine like her father would, the wolf blood made sure of that. But there was a faint shimmery glow that one could see, only if they were looking for it.
"So, how far is this park?" she asked.

So, how far is this park?
"Just around the corner," Leah answered. They walked in silence and Leah took time to examine the other from the corner of her eye. There was something wrong with her, she noticed, something different, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
"Here we are," she said, and opened the gate. "Let's sit," she suggested pointing toward a white bench under high pine. It was her favorite, (due it's position, where one was able to see the whole park) and the only one at the moment, that wasn't covered with raindrops. She knew too well how it sucked sitting on a wet surface.
