She was hungry. Leah thought about that for a moment...Maybe, if she'd eat something she would get in good mood and talk about herself... And she didn't like to eat alone, she had done it for lifetime anyway. "I'll come with you," she said. "Where to you wanna go? Your choice!" She had visited any restaurant in town, so it really didn't matter to her. They all sucked anyway.

Nichita shrugged her shoulders. "Anyplace that serves meat," she said.
So far everything seemed to be going well, aside from Leah's attitude and curiousity, but she could handle that. What she couldn't handle was when the quiet was interrupted by a loud clap of thunder and a flash of lightning that was dangerously close.
She froze for a moment, memories flashing through her mind in quick succesion before she pushed them away. Being careful to keep her hands closed and at her sides, she picked up the pace again. The last thing she needed was to give this girl an electrically charged show.

Leah was frightened as the first flash on lightning illuminate the dark sky. "Sorry," she started to say that she had never gotten used to that, but saw that Nichita's reaction was worse. The clap of lightening frozed her for a second. "What's her problem?" she thought. "Another thing to find out," she remainded herself. They had to be quick, if they didn't want to get soaked, because raindrops falled hastily down and Leah made the decision. "Let's go to Lodge," she said, this was the closest restaurant...

Nichita pulled her gaze from the darkening sky to the girl beside her.
"The Lodge sounds fine to me," she didn't want to get stuck in this kind of weather with company just yet. So she picked up her pace, hoping that the restaraunt wasn't too far away.

The restaurant was full of people. Some escaping from weather and many taking their everyday diner. "A table for too," Leah said to waitress. She showed them to table, and sat down. For a while they both examined the menus. "I take steak with fries," Leah said finally. "And what can I bring for you?," the waitress turned to Nichita.

Nichita looked over the menu for a moment more before she smiled at the waitress.
"I'll take a steak - medium, fries, and a glass of water please," she said, handing the menu to the young girl. Drumming her fingers on the table top as the waitress left, she waited patiently for the stuff to arrive. She wasn't in the least bit nervous about Leah, Nichita knew her cover story like the back of her hand by now.

"So..." started Leah when their foods arrived. "why Forks?" She couldn't imagine any place less interesting than that. Leah herself planned to left this crappy place as soon as possible.

Nichita briefly thanked the waitress and then salted her fries.
"So, why Forks?"
Nichita shrugged. "To be honest, I didn't even realize where I was going. I've been traveling for a couple of years now, trying to figure out life, and just stopping whenever I get tired; always hoping that when I stop, it's for good. The constant change of scenery gets boring after a while," she said and she cut into her steak.

"Wow..." was all she managed to say. And regretted it almost right away. She must have sounded like an idiot. "I mean..." she played with her potatoes, chose one and showed it in her mouth with her hands. Her mother used to sau that her table manners were awful. She was so right.... "It must be so cool," she said thoughtfully, "travelling around seeing the whole wide world," She took a bite of bread. "I'm jealous," Leah admitted, "I have been for all my stuoid life," she tried to keep the bitterness away from her words, but she was sure that the other could hear it. "And your parents," she asked, "what do they think about that?"

Nichita shrugged, "The travelling ain't all it's cracked up to be, it gets lonely -- not to mention dangerous. Everything starts looking the same after a while," she said. She had no qualms with talking about the travelling. Everything she said about it was true. It did get boring, lonely, and dangerous. Dangerous for everyone involved when it came to her. Especially at times like this when she went a week or more without eating anything.
Chewing on a piece of her steak, she nearly choked on the Leah's next question. She recovered quickly, though, "Sorry, went to talk and swallow at the same time...I wouldn't advise doing that," she said with a laugh.
"My parents are actually the reason why I started travelling in the first place. They moved overseas because of my mom's job and they left me with my grandma. I got bored, told my grandma I loved her, and took off," she said. It was a safe enough story that no one would figure out. She had ran into many werewolves and vampires in the last two years and everyone had bought it. She had said it so much at this point that it was almost easier for her to just believe her own story rather than the truth.

Leah was surprised to see Nichita's reactions about her second question. "Oh, that's were the bean is hidden," she tought. "And you miss them?" she suggested cutting her steak. Meat smelled so good...

Phrax sat in the now-bustling diner nursing his 3rd extra-rare beef steak. The Cook, an old friend of his, knew how to prepare it so it looked cooked, but was juicy and not-so-cooked within. He relished in simply sitting in the diner, nursing coffee and meat, while indulging in the scents that flowed in, each a new piece of information.
Across the aisle, sitting at a table, a couple were arguing. One was suspicious and angry, the other sly and excited. The man was getting a kick out of lying to his spouse. A smirk passed Phrax's lips, as he inserted another piece of the steak into his maw. Everything was so keen.
But then he smelt a Wolf and a Bat, and neither scent was usual. He looked over his shoulder at the entrance to see 2 Teenage girls stride into the lodge. One was obviously of Native American heritage. The other he wasn't sure.
What he did know was that these were very new.

Leah chewed her potatoes as she waiting for Nichita to answer. "The taste of these potatoes has really improved since the last time I was here," she tought. They almost tasted like potatoes now. But since she was so hungry, she could really have only imagined it. Suddenly the door burst open and light wind carried a familiar scent into her nose. Werewolf's scent. Another werewolf had to be in the restaurant. A werewolf she didn't know. She looked warily around, but the restaurant was filled with so many noiseful guests that it was hard to define who could it be. Finally, one boy cought her attention. He was sitting alone in a table and in front of him was a plate of large steak. "Who is that," she tought, unable to turn her eyes from the boy.

Nichita shrugged her shoulders, trying hard to appear indifferent. "Yeah, I guess. But they're happy and that's what matters. Mom's doing her work, Dad found something to do over there. It's definitely a lot better than where we were," she said.
Great, more supernatural beings, she thought as the scent of another werewolf caught her senses. Turning around slowly, she looked in the direction from which the scent was coming from.
"Ew," she whispered so low that only Leah could hear, "you'd think with being that old you would have an idea of what a shower is."

Leah quickly turned her eyes from that boy. "Ecxuse-me," she asked, but then followed Nichita's eyes. She had also stared at this weird guy. She burst put laughing, but also wondered how she had felt that smell. Human senses were usually incapable for that. But as she had decided before, Nichita indeed wasn't human. She concluded that it was time fir answers. "So...," she asked iinnocently, "were have you met werewoolves?"
