I walked outside my home and down the long road of Forks, and heard a long loud scream. what do you want!? someone with a recognizable voice said, and found myself running.
Whoever was planning on hurting this girl, was going to be sorry. I stopped ten feet behind Lily, and saw the girl who I had suspected her presence not long before.
"Is everything alright?" I said in a low tone towards Lily. Then i noticed it. The complete difference in The other girl, and everyone else. The Eyes gave it all away. But what was i supposed to do? I'm just as vulnerable as Lily.
I heard the other girl speak, and it seemed like she meant no harm.

The one named Emily ran in right behind Lilly and stared at Jessalyn right in her eyes. She knew something she could tell, that because of how she looked taken back. This was quickly becoming something of a hassel. "Hello, I was simiply trying to tell her that she is getting herself lost in the forest, I mean no harm." She looked at Emily wondering if, by any chance she knew what she was.

Topaz eyes, was the first thing Lily reistered of the girl behind her. It moved her think of the man that had saved her that night so long ago. She could no longer fear the other girl's presence, she stood up straight. "Oh right, yeah, sorry. I'm just a little creeped, I'm new around here, names Lily."
Just then she heard another ruffling in the forest and out stepped Emily, "Is everything alright?" she seemed a little frantic. The other girl spoke with sincerity, and Lily spoke to reassure Emily.
"Oh yeah, everything's fine. Just an over reaction." Lily said, but she couldn't stop staring into those eyes.

"...names Lilly"
"My name is, Jessalyn Bennett. I understand about your being creeped out, may I implore what you are doing here in the forest at night?" She ran over what she said inside of her head, though her voice was soft and lightly accented with her British accent, she couldn't help but think of how old she sounded. She didn't bother keeping up with the language they used nowadays.
She noticed that Lilly hadn't stopped staring at her since she screamed, and woke the whole forest. She suddenly became aware that she was being stared at. This made her very uneasy.

"Oh," Lily realized how weird she was being and broke eye contact, "Yeah, well I guess I've been going in the wrong direction like you said."
Lily saw that she had made Jessalyn uncomfortable, but another thing she noticed was how the girl spoke. Like she had stepped out of the 1800s or something. She wanted to say something about it, but didn't want to draw Emily's attention.

"Yes, yes you were," "Would you like me to show you the way back?" Jessalyn inquired
Lilly seemed very perceptive, Jessalyn noticed how she listened to way she spoke, almost as if she was analyzing the words she spoke. And how she looked at her eyes as if they were familiar to her. But most of all she noticed the longing in the girls eyes, to say something, about it. But dismissed it because Emily was there.

"Yeah that'd be a little helpful, thanks." Lily realized that this might be her chance to get Jessalyn alone, but she wasn't quiet sure if she wanted that or if Emily would even make that possible.
More than anything she wanted to know if this girl could explain to her what actually happened the night her parents died. Maybe she could learn who the man, her savior, was and find out if there was anyway to contact him.

Jessalyn offered a warm smile before speaking, "Right this way, Lilly" She started off at a slow walk, trying to look as human as possible, for Lilly watched her carefully as if waiting for her to do something. She quickly started thinking answers to questions.
"Do you do this often then, the whole forest walks at night thing?" Jessalyn tried to lighten the mood, with a small joke.

"Not really, I just moved here." Lily said, starting to wonder slightly why no one has mentioned her accent, but then again Jessalyn had one of her own, sounded English.
"Couldn't sleep, jet lag and everything." she said shrugging.

"Ohh, I see I just moved her also, I also just enrolled in Forks High" Jessalyn's voice held a small amount of sarcasm, when she said mentioned starting school. She began to wonder why she moved here, she didn't sound to happy about it.
"If you don't mind my asking why did you move here, I here Dublin is beautiful this time of year." She hoped she didn't over step her boundaries. They continued walking in large forest, looking out for trees and such.

"Oh it is, but lets just say I have some family issues..." Lily replied not really feeling like she wanted to delve into her crappy life. It struck her, that with her track record any friends she made tonight probably wouldn't last. Feeling an odd chill that ,she assumed went with her dark thoughts, Lily took a small step away from Jessalyn, wanting to put a small space between them.
"So, seems we have a few things in common, I just enrolled at wonderful Forks high myself." Lily said matching Jessalyn's sarcasm.

"Family issues huh, seems like forever ago..." Jessalyn's voice trailed off into deep thought. She watched Lilly take a step away from her, as if distancing herself from her. She couldn't help but feel a small twinge of rejection. There were reasons why she stopped talking humans so long ago, she used to be so full of life. But now shes feeling rejection from some child.
She nodded when Lily mentioned high school. "Is it wrong that I'd give anything to be home schooled, because I would" She chuckled lightly

"No," Lily sighed, "But I'm not sure I can deal with my family or school right now. I'm sort of a lone wolf." I just need to get the heck away from everyone she added silently.
Though she didn't want to admit it she could see herself becoming friends with Jessalyn. Out of everyone she met in this cute little town, she felt as though she could relate to her.
But Lily knew she couldn't let herself do that. What if something were to happen, I couldn't bare that, not again. She took another small step away, ignoring the look in Jessalyn's eyes.
I just need information nothing else.

"Lone wolf, huh?" "That's the hardest thing, I've ever had to be, the lone wolf well, it won't be that bad for you, you'll make friends easily."
She didn't bother asking about the distance that Lily seemed to be placing between them. Maybe I smell bad, though I've always been told I had a nice scent Out of all the humans she had met in her long life, Lily seemed the most like herself. She could easily tell by her posture, and need for distance, that she was trying to protect herself from making some sort of a bond between them.
"So, had you always lived in Dublin,"

"Yeah well I have always lived there, until now anyways, and I'm not really concerned with the making friends thing, its more me worried about keeping them."
Lily was starting to wonder how much longer this walk would be and where exactly Emily went. Oh well. Jessalyn wasn't bad company.
