Bella rolled her head from side to side. She had been really tired lately -- unable to sleep. With absolutely no idea why her body wouldn't shut down long enough to rest, she laid awake with absolutely nothing to do. It wouldn't be so bad if Edward were around, but he had left for the weekend to hunt and she hadn't seen him in the past couple of days.
She wasn't sure where she was going or if she was just going to double back and go home in a few minutes, but she had had to get out of the house for a little bit. She had been inside all weekend and it was becoming stifling -- and lonely. Charlie was pulling double shifts lately which didn't help to ease any boredom that she had.
Bella wasn't paying attention to where she was going and before she knew it, her face was on the ground.
"Gah! Stupid stick," she muttered as she sat up and tossed the stick to the side of the road.

Unable to sleep, from a combination of jet lag and her normal need to wander, Lily crept out of the house. She had been walking around for about an hour before she heard, "Gah! Stupid stick," and before she could hide herself aforementioned stupid stick hit her on the thigh.
"Hey! That hurt, do you mind watching where your throwing things." she said to the figure of the girl who must've thrown the stick.

Bella forced herself to her feet, dusting the dirt off of her jeans as she got up. Wincing slightly, she chanced a look at her hands, "Figures," she muttered as she noticed how scratched up they were. Why was it that she couldn't go a day without doing something to injure herself?
"Hey! That hurt, do you mind watching where your throwing things."
Bella sighed and turned towards the voice. "Sorry!" she called out. "I didn't realize that anyone was out at this time of night."

"Yeah, well its day now where i'm from." Lily replied rubbing her leg where the stick hit her. Oddly enough it seemed that the petite girl in front of her had an arm.
Taking a chance she held out her hand and said, "Name's Lily, I'm kinda new here if you couldn't already tell." It couldn't hurt to at least try and make one friend in this cookie cutter town.

Bella tilted her head to the side and studied Lily for a moment. She had color in her cheeks, normal eyes, and she wasn't reacting to the scent of the blood on Bella's hands. It wouldn't hurt anything to be nice to this girl.
"I'm Bella," she said after a minute, "I would shake your hand, but I'm sure you'd rather not have my blood on you," she said with a laugh, showing the girl her hands.

Jessalyn glanced out her apartment window, the dark night was accompanied by a large moon. She looked around at the art that hung on her walls, and the furniture that she acquired through the years, and suddenly felt like the walls her closing in. Deciding that the best way to rectify the problem would be to leave, the building. Running into a Forrest in inside of Forks, she quickly entered and began to run. But the scent of blood filled the air. She came to a silent halt as she heard the sound of someone falling. "Gah! Stupid stick!" She heard, and chuckled " I doubt it was the sticks fault." she said quietly to herself. She saw the stick fly through the air then, hit someone else "Hey!, do you mind watching where you throw things?"
She chuckled again watching as the small brunette girl said she was sorry. Jessalyn listened while they both made polite introductions ones name was Lilly and the other Bella. "I was under the impression that it was only vampires who walked around so late, in the night" She said louder then intended.

"Yeah, right," Lily mumbled with drawing her hand. Blood never really bothered Lily to much, but if she could avoid it she did.
It seemed that she may be able to start over here. Nothing was out of the ordinary and even if it was a little boring she could live with that. "So, if your ok, is there anything to do around here?"
Before Bella could answer, Lily heard a voice, "Wait...did you here that?"

"Not really, especially at this time. I just couldn't handle being at home right now. Can't sleep -- bored out of my mind. I thought a little fresh air might do the trick," she shrugged. She vaguely wondered if all of the Cullen's were out hunting, or if a few had decided to stay home. Oh, well, she couldn't exactly risk going to their house with Lily here.
She turned her head towards the forest as she heard something. "Yeah, I did," she whispered.
Alice, I really hope you're home and that if this is danger of any kind, you saw it, she thought to herself.

Jessalyn became aware, that her voice had been heard, and tried to decide what the next best move was, stay quite and let them believe that their imaginations were playing with them or run. Both seemed like a great idea, knowing that she didn't want to answer questions about why she was here. Or the possibility that the stick thrower would think she was some sort of villain, and try to beat her to death, though it wouldn't go anything but make her annoyed.

Emily quietly walked out of the woods hoping not to frighten the girls who were walking. Once she hit the outside, she saw the girls fearful. "Hey Girls!" She spoke softly, and fluently graceful. Trying not to sound to anxious to speak with them, or to just walk by there sides, Emily said, "Hope i didn't frighten you i'd just like to join in on your little walk." She flashed a smile to make things a little better.

"What the!?" Lily said jumping at the sight of the girl that came out of the forest. Taking a few breaths she calmed herself. Jeez people literally come out of the wood work in this place."Oh man sorry I just don't do to well with surprises...I don't know what we're doing exactly but i don't mind if you join us." The more the merrier.

"oh my apologies." I spoke softer than before. "I had no intention of frightening you all, I was just on a walk with my boyfriend, but his.." I gathered my thoughts through my head quickly, these people or at least one of them had no idea werewolves even existed. "Friends called him so he had to.. go." I dropped my gaze to me feet trying to to show the hurt I had with him not being near me for the slightest moment, that I felt more often than ever lately. "and i saw you girls and i thought, what the hay maybe they won't mind if i come hangout with them!" I spoke excitedly.

Bella grinned and walked the short distance to the edge of the forest. "Well, I certainly know what it's like when your boyfriend suddenly disappears because friends or family call. Or for other reasons that he doesn't like to talk to you about," she said with a shrug.
"You're more than welcome to join us. I really didn't think that so many people would be out this late," she laughed.

Interesting, Everyone around here seems very friendly, Lily thought to herself, It's like they've never really had a reason to not trust anyone, weird...I wish I could say the same.
"Speaking of males, hows the pickin's around here anyway?" Lily said, hoping that maybe a boy (or boys) was her type. Though she had never had a serious boy friend maybe now was the time to look at the possibilities.

Bella shrugged her shoulders. "I honestly couldn't tell you, Lily. I've only had eyes for one guy since I moved here," she said honestly.
She wished she could say more on the subject, but she really couldn't. "I'm sure that you'll meet someone soon though. There are plenty of guys around here so no worries. Just wait until school, you'll be surrounded by them," she laughed, remembering how eager to help they were.
Bella was beginning to get a nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach. She had learned long ago not to ignore those nervous feelings, but she figured she would be surrounded by Cullen's soon if anything were to come up in her immediate future.
