Rosalie swept towards the usual "Cullen" table with the calm grace of a ballerina. Her hands laid a bag of pretzels, a bottle of diet iced tea and her books on the table in one swift move. She shoved them to the center of the table where she knew there was little chance of actually touching them. The books served as the perfect coaster for the sweating drink bottle.
Delicately pulling her chair out, Rosalie settled her expensive handbag on the chair's back and sat down as she gracefully crossed her legs. Adjusting the mint green scarf over the light blue cashmare sweater she wore, Rosalie's eyes flicked back and forth across the room. For the moment, her family appeared absent. She wondered just how long she would be forced to sit alone until one of them joined her.

Jasper made his way into the cluttered lunchroom his school bag slung over his shoulder with his books tucked securely within it. As soon as he made his way into the cafeteria he spotted Roslaie seated at the table which ahd become the Cullen's home in the room since they had arrived at Forks. Of course with the addition of Bella the table had branched out slightly but nothing too out of the comfort zone.
He grabbed an apple and a bottle of water which he knew he wouldn't eat and made his way over to his "twin."
"Keeping up appearences as normal Rose?" jasper asked with a smile as he took a seat next to her and shifted his bag down to the floor as he got situated in his chair.
"I am rather impressed that you actually sat here alone," jasper said with a faint smile as he slid the food in front of him slightly out of the way. rosalie was not the sort to wait for anyone so it was a rather rare treat for her to be first and waiting for the rest of them at the table.

Rosalie's eyes followed Jasper's movements from the moment he entered the room. She waited none too patiently as he made selected his food and eventually joined her at the table.
"It's about time." She snapped as he finally sat down. "I was beginning to think that you'd all run off and made other friends." It was a direct shot at Isabella and Edward, she assumed Jasper would need little explanation.
"Well, by waiting on the rest of you, it gives me something to hold over you and therefore something for you to make up to me-although I have to say you were getting dangerously close to being left." One of her hands moved up smooth her long hair. Rosalie flicked her eyes again to survey the rest of the room, still seeing no signs of the others.

"Pleasure to see you too sis," jasper replied with a slight smile as Rosalie snapped at him the moment he had taken his seat. He should have known better Rose din't wait for anyone and when she was made to; well it wasn't a pretty experience. Jasper shook his head gently at rosalie's direct attempt on Edward's relationship with Bella.
"She makes him happy Rose; exceedingly so...I think it is time you begin to warm to her. Or do you think you and Emmett and Alice and I are the only ones who deserve to have found our mates?" Jasper asked his eyes locking with those of his "twin" sister.
Jasper could only laugh slightly at Rosalie's explanation for her waiting it was so very Rose to turn a situation like that in her favor.
"You wouldn't leave any of us Rose, you don't tolerate anyone else long enough to speak with them. Or maybe you would want to go sit over there with Mike Newton and his friends I am sure they'll fawn of you," Jasper replied a playful hit to his voice. He did wonder where the rest of the family was at but he knew they would all make their way there eventually.

Alice soon made her way into the cafe soon after Jasper had sat down and started to talk with Rosalie. Going through the normal routine of grabbing food that was only going to be wasted Alice waited through the line before paying and making her way towards the table happily.
"Who will fawn over Rosalie?" she asked, taking a seat. She'd only caught the end of the conversation from a few yards away. The chattering of the rest of the cafeteria making it hard to listen in. Her tray sat pushed slightly forward and she cross her ankles under the table, leaning back into her chair and looking at her adoptive sister amusedly.

"Mike Newton and all of his friends since Rose here is opting for leaving us behind didn't you know darling?" Jasper asked with a smile as Alice sat down at the table.
"Todays lack of punctuality seems to have hit a nerve," Jasper whispered with a smile as his hand latched gently on to Alice's his eyes never leaving hers for a moment. It seemed the minute she walked into a room she was his focus in life and everything else was merely a whisper in the background.

Rosalie frowned at Jasper's comment, idly twirling a silver bracelet made of small silver beads on her right wrist.
"She makes him happy...for now. What are we going to do when she decides she's had enough of him? Or one small argument turns into a major one and she runs screaming through the halls demanding that Edward Cullen and all of his family are vampires. What then, Jasper?"
She wrinkled in disguest as Jasper bothered to bring up Mike Newton and his friends.
"I'd rather be burned at the stake." She muttered in a low voice, suspecting Jasper heard her regardless.
She let out a long sigh of frustration and shot a glance at her delicate silver watch as Alice joined them. Pressing her lips together, Rosalie pulled her handbag onto her lap and began rummaging through it.
"Keep talking, Jasper. Because unless you're planning on walking-or catching a ride with Edward and Isabella-you best be nice because I will leave you behind."
Rosalie held up her key ring, showing off the keys to the BMW. She shot her brother a satisfied smirk, hoping he knew she really would leave him with the mood she was in.

Jasper merely looked back at Rosalie as she began to rant about one thing then the other.
"First of all if she does begin to yell down the halls about the Cullens being vampires I am pretty sure a comfy white cell will be waiting for her and second of all she isn't going to tell anyone Rosalie she cares for Edward and the rest of us when are you going to see that? I mean Carlisle trusts her and you should trust him above the rest of us being that you owe him your life," Jasper said his eyes never leaving Rosalie as he spoke.
"You know in some countries I am pretty sure that can still be arranged," Jasper replied with a smirk as his hand caressed Alice's palm gently as he held her hand in his. Jasper laughed slightly as Rosalie threatened to leave him behind afte school.
"As if Alice would let you," Jasper replied with a wink as he picked aimlessly at the apple in front of him. He decided to send out a few waves of calmness to perhaps help Rosalie not be too uptight but he knew when she was in a mood barely antyhing worked.

Upon realizing that Rosalie was close to probably throttling her husband she shook her head, smiling before responding, "Jazz...maybe we should be nice to Rose. After all, we did make her wait today."
She then looked at Rosalie, "Please don't leave Jasper behind," she said, starting to pull a pout, mischief in her eyes. Pulling her hand out of Jaspers she folded her hands as if she were begging...which she was; as a joke.

Rosalie's eyes rolled almost involuntarily at Jasper's words.
"Teenage girls are fickle." She informed him. "Besides, there is one person in this town-in this room-that would believe her. And all it will take would be one person talking to get the rumors flying and then we'd have real trouble."
Rosalie raised an eyebrow in disbelief at both Alice's words and actions. She had to agree, it was rather amusing.
"All right, but since you asked so nicely." She dropped her keys back into her bag and replaced the bag on the back of the chair.
"You," she turned to Jasper, "could learn a lot from how she wins my good graces. Take some notes."

When Rosalie dropped her keys back into her purse and agreed not to make Jasper walk, though it wouldn't take him long considering who or rather what he was. "Thank you Rose," she said, her voice ringing with joy.
She had to bite her lip to keep from laughing as Rosalie quipped at her husband and smirked slightly at him. "Yes Jasper there's a lot you could learn from me," she said, winking.

Jasper shook his head all but defeated as Rosalie continued on that Bella was going to rat them all out eventually.
“Either way Rose it’s too late now she knows, end of story so it is high time you got used to it,” Jasper said with a shrug not seeing what her desire was to keep this on going grudge against Bella.
Jasper laughed as Alice “pleaded” with Rosalie not to leave him and shook his head lightly at Rosalie’s comment.
“No need to take notes Rose I know exactly how to get on your good graces which is why I avoid that course of action as much as possible,” Jasper said with a small smirk knowing that Rose knew he was only kidding.
“I learn plenty from you darling,” Jasper said with a smile as he re-took Alice’s hand in his and kissed the top of her hand gently.

Alice grinned as Jasper kissed her hand and rolled her eyes slightly for Rosalie to see. Before she could say anything however she tilted her head slightly, almost looking curious before a vision hit her.
She was up in Jasper and her room checked her e-mail when a message popped up saying new mail. Clicking it she raised a brow as the message opened.
Subject: To All Students Of Forks High School Message: From Sabina and Lily [Sorry, it wouldn't fit in the "Subject" box]
Hi Everyone!
This is Lily and Sabina, yup, we're the two transfer students who, coincidentally, are both foreigners. (That was suppose to be a private joke but we doubt it worked.) Hahah!
Anyways, we would like to invite all of you to our "Welcoming Party" that we threw for ourselves. We really haven't got the chance to get to know you all and we thought that throwing a party was possibly the best way to make more friends! The party's gonna be in Lily Wilson's house on Friday, 7pm!
See you all there!
Lily Wilson and Sabina Leigh
Shaking her head she came back to reality and a huge grin spread upon her face. "OH!" she exclaimed excitedly.

Rosalie decided she had as good as won both arguments. Well, at least she could write that off as a success today. It was nice to accomplish things.
As Jasper kissed Alice's hand, Rosalie took the opportunity to turn her head and glance about for Emmett. She hadn't seen him since they'd arrived at school and wondered what was keeping him.
She was jolted back into the moment as a sudden expression of happiness lit up Alice's face.
"What?" Rosalie asked, wrinkling her nose as though Alice had just gone mad.

"How would you all like to go to a party for some new classmates Friday night?" she said, grinning. Alice loved parties. "Seems the two out of country girls are going to sent a mass e-mail later inviting everyone." She ignored Rosalie's look as she practically bubbled over with excitement.
