It was probably one of the most useless days, like always. Sabina decided to skip the class she had to go to before lunch hour, thinking that she would be on the verge of insanity if she had hear another chit-chatter non-sense about some freakin' math equation that she always seems to forget. No, not insanity. She wouldn't want to loose her mind when was a 100 % sure that she was going to live forever.
"Live forever? I'll never know what heaven is. On the upside, neither Hell. But it's not like I've never been there before. Oh, that rotten Work house." She said to herself, hearing her very distinct accent even inside her head. But Sabina went back to her train of thoughts earlier, the part about the cafeteria, darlings.
30 minutes after contemplating and having an epic battle in her head between going to the cafeteria or just quietly head home, the cafeteria won. Hora. She quietly thought, showing no proper emotion for what she just said to herself.
When she went inside the cafeteria, not much people were there, just a couple of kids talking about anything and everything else around. Sabina went in line to get food, not like she needs it but she still likes the taste, unlike her mama Harriet who loathed it. Human food was the only thing that made Sabina feel like she was still a human being, setting aside the fact that she's not, and will never again be one of them.
Usually, Sabina would just take her food, get out of the cafeteria, and eat whatever she bought outside. But she was feeling exceptionally sociable today. She frantically searched for a table that only a few people occupied, she didn't like large crowds, so she just went for a table where Mike Newton, "the guy who seems to be very fond of Bella" Sabina thought, and Lily Wilson, "the new girl from Ireland", from what she heard by eavesdropping in some peoples' minds, were seated in.
She figured that if she was planning on trying to make a social life for herself and leave the safety of her privacy, high school, this time around, wouldn't hurt as much. After thinking twice, forgetting the fear of being rejected and thinking of just the good possibilities, Sabina marched up to where Mike and Lily were seated in.
Taking a deep breath and finishing her thoughts; "Hi, um.. Pardon my intrusion. I'm Sabina Leigh. Can I join this table?" She said with a very strong British accent. Glad that's over with. She said to herself while waiting for their answer.

Mike looked up away from Lily as another girl made his way over to the table. It didn't seem like any of his normal lunch group was aropund but there were new people by the bucket full.
"Hey Sabina I'm Mike and this is Lily," Mike replied introducing himself as well as Lily. He immediately picked up on the girls British accent and found it entirely out of the norm but cool none the less that he was there with two foreigners per say.
"Yeah sure pull up a chair," Mike said with a friendly smile.

Lily smiled at Sabina as she sat. Lily felt a little less awkward now because she wasn't the only foreigner around.
"So Sabina right? So what part of my neighbor country are you from?" she asked politely.

Surprised by their warm welcome, Sabina sat across Mike and Lily.
"Wow um.. thanks. Well, I'm from London, England. But my mama and I moved here to America a few years ago. Moved from one state then another but I still can't let go of my accent. It's quite a hard habit to break, you know."
Sabina hesitated on saying more but she went right ahead.
"My mama's always away.. for work and we live in a house near the forest. It's quite bizarre to live in a place that secluded, I know. But my mama and I decided we needed privacy from everyone."
Actually, work meant 'hunting', but Sabina wouldn't want to expose the true nature of their way of living. It was actually the first time in a few months that she's said so much and had a real conversation with anyone besides her mama. She's actually liking it and hopes that things like this keep up so she wouldn't be dubbed again as 'that loner kid'.

Wow, whats with the mama stuff? Lily thought to herself as the girl spoke. Lily noticed how pale Sabina was, though she ignored it thinking that maybe 'mama' was the cause of that to.
"Yeah I get what you mean about the hole accent thing, but I like mine so it doesn't really matter to me if it doesn't change." Lily really did like her accent, it made it a little easier to be noticed when she want to be.
"Really, my uncle's away a lot too. I don't exactly live in the middle of nowhere, but its nice to be alone sometimes...Hey who knows maybe I'll throw a welcome party." Lily giggled into her drink at the good idea.

'Wow, whats with the mama stuff?' Sabina heard in Lily's mind, she also heard her noticing how pale she was.
'I guess I've been saying a little too, much..' Thought Sabina. When Lily said something about a welcome party, she thought of something she never thought she'd think of because of her lack of social skills.
"Since you're planning one and we're both new here, do you mind if we plan it together? I mean like a double party, for you and me. You know, since we're both new here and stuff." Sabina suggested to Lily.

Mike listened intently as Sabina chatted about herself for a moment. The girl was rather odd looking not that it bothered Mike but it was sort of weird for him to get the same sort of feeling about her as he did the Cullens.
"Wow this is so random, I mean you both seem cool and what not but I don't think we've ever gotten truley foreign residents. It will surely make life more interesting," Mike said with a pleased smile he was always about making life that much more interesting.
His eyes scanned the lunchroom looking to see if there was any sign of Bella and once there wasn't he pulled his eyes back tot he girls his shoulder's slumping slightly till one of the girls brought up planning a party.
"You'll find if you can chat to it to enough people you'll get almost all of Forks there or well at least almost all of the school there," Mike said with a smile.

'Gah! He thinks I'm odd looking.. Okay, Sabina, FOCUS! Oh, and he's looking for Bella, no surprise there. This guy is CRAZY for Bella.'
She thought to herself as she read his mind. She can't quite understand some of the things Mike said though. It's as if she wasn't paying much attention to what he's saying but she was paying more attention to his features.. Was she starting to like him?
'Wait, why am I looking at him this way? No, I can't! Sabina, you're loosing yourself again.'
Mike was still speaking but Sabina fought her thoughts so she really can't quite concentrate on what he's saying.
'Sabina! You can't like him. He likes Bella, okay? He likes BELLA!'
Finally, she heard what he said next.
"You'll find if you can chat to it to enough people you'll get almost all of Forks there or well at least almost all of the school there," Mike said with a smile.
"I don't know about chatting with people. You might not notice it, but I'm new to the whole socializing thing. My social skills are way past negative. I never really talked to anyone here as much as I talked to the two of you. All I did was talk a bit and run away out of embarrassment. It's quite a hustle, really. I get annoyed of myself sometimes, and people tend to make a laughing stock out of me. They think I'm a freak or something, but I can't blame 'em."
Sabina's voice broke, she didn't look at neither Mike nor Lily as she spoke. Sabina felt tears were going to edge of her eyes, threatening to come out. But she choked it in, looked up at Lily and Mike and smiled.
'What's wrong with me?' She asked herself..

“They can’t be too negative I mean you did walk up to a table with two strangers and chatted us up,” Mike said with a genuine smile trying to help the girl feel a bit better about herself and the whole situation. He hated when people got down on themselves especially when they really didn’t need to.
“When now you see Lily and I are the perfect place to start,” Mike said picking aimlessly at what was left of his lunch.
“She’s new too and is from your next of the woods kinda sorta if I can remember geography correctly and I tend to be the default welcome committee around these parts or well I at least try and help everyone feel welcome. Maybe you’ll luck out and hit it off with Angela or Jessica or Bella!” Mike said with a faint smile even he knew better then not that Bella barely had any time for her friends outside of the Cullens even if she did consider Mike a friend he found himself getting inched out of the way more times then not.
“And besides I was just trying to convince Lily here to take part in our epic snow battle which will have to happen this winter and by default you’ll have to join in to! Aside from on our relatively rare sunny days we head over to the beach so you can totally tag along to; we’ll get you set up,” Mike said hoping he was helping the new girl feel a bit better at himself as he looked at Lily with a smile.

'Wow, this guy's genuinely nice.' Sabina thought to herself.
"I guess so. I mean, I myself, can't believe that actually had the guts to walk here and talk to the two of you. Thanks a lot Lily, Mike. And I'm really looking forward to those sunny days and winter." Sabina said in a lighter tone and an actual smile with real happiness that she hadn't felt in years.
'Maybe it really is gonna be different this time.' She thought as she continued to eat her food.

"Well see I bet you're glad that you did cause if you didn't you could have missed out," Mike said with a small laugh as he scanned the students entering the lunchroom one more time not really sure why he continued to look for Bella he knew she wasn't going to show just like he knew she wouldn't willingly hang out or do anything else as long as Edward Cullen was around. He felt like he was losing a really good friend and there was nothing he could do about it.
"I know we'll be able to have the snow battle this year we missed out last year but this year is the year for it I can feel it," Mike said adjusting his focus and not allowing thoughts of Bella to get him down at the moment.

"Oh, yeah. the party will be double the fun." Lily said offering a kind smile. Sabina did quite seem normal to Lily, but she did seem nice enough. Lily found herself wondering how opposed to alcohol Sabina was, a little teenaged delinquency never hurt anyone.
"Don't worry about it," Lily commented on how the girl seemed to be afraid of socializing, "listen to everything Mike said and if you have any trouble come to me, I have absolutely no problem with making my presence known."
Though Mike looked slightly preoccupied, Lily couldn't help but notice how Sabina stared at him. She smiled at the idea of the couple and wondered what exactly was keeping Mike from staring right back.

Mike's attention turned to back to Lily and he was rather pleased that she seemed to have so much trust in him already.
"Thanks Lily usually it takes people awhile to take my word as law," he replied with a smile as his eyes focused on hers.
"Usually lunch is a little bit more exciting then this...well no not exciting but more populated I guess you could say," Mike explained with a shrug. He had no idea where anyone was but it was just the same he had been able to use the time to chat to some new people.

Lily rolled her eyes at Mike's slightly conceited attitude, "Welcome Mike, oh master of common sense." she said giving him a playful punch on the arm.
"Actually this room is exactly as exciting as I thought it would be." Lily said taking a bite from whatever it was she got for lunch. She quickly pushed the tray aside, making a face that clearing showed she would be bringing her own lunch from now on.

"Now common sense is about as far from me as possible," Mike replied with a laugh as Lily playfully punched him and he found himself smiling at her for a few moments longer then was probably needed before he embarrassed switched his attention back down to his food.
"Well usually there is a few more people but I guess everyone decided to cut out early and I lost the memo," Mike said only have kidding since he really had not a single clue where everyone had gotten to.
"So has school been ok so far? Or well as ok as school can be anyways?" Mike asked amending his first question as he looked at the two girls.
