Noa glanced around the parking lot as his mother pulled in. It seemed pretty much empty except for a rust bucket of a truck and a large SUV. He listened as his mom pulled open the door and slammed it shut and he soon followed her example. "Mom do we really have to come here? Theres a Sports Authority back down in that one town." Noa said as he followed after his mother. She stopped in mid step and looked back at her son. Even though she was almost a foot and a half shorter than him and a regular human she was still able to scare her son. With out even speaking a word Noa shut his mouth and followed his mom over to entrance.
She walked off towards the camping department and Noa turned to go look through whatever he could find. He sighed deeply as he walked over to a lawn chair and sat down in it. The plastic creaked as he put his weight on it but it held. With out a second though the large boy placed his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. Maybe I should sleep while moms looking for whatever. He thought to himself as he let out a loud yawn and licked his lips. "Yeah a nap sounds good." he said as he quickly drifted off into a shallow sleep.

Bella sighed as she pulled the mop across the floor. How was it that she got stuck doing the dirty work? Setting the mop aside she took a moment to pull her hair up into a messy pony tail -- the Newton's really needed to do something about getting the air conditioning fixed. Humming her lullaby softly too herself, she allowed a moment of distraction.
Bad idea.
The next thing she knew she had bumped into an unmoving lawn chair. Spinning around to see why it didn't give, she slipped on the wet floor and louded with a loud "Oomph."
Looking up from the floor, she noticed a guy asleep in the chair. Shaking her head, she went to get up -- only to slip and fall again. "I give up," she muttered.

Noa's eyes fluttered as he heard the sound of someone making there way across the store. It didn't sound like his mom and he was there was no one else here except for the employees. His eyes flew open once he realized that he would probably get kicked out for sleeping in the chairs. With out even meaning to he jumped off the chair with inhuman speed just in time to here a young woman say something about giving up. He examined her for a few seconds before reaching out his hand towards her. "Are you o...." He stopped mid-sentance as he caught a whiff of a strange scent.
For a few seconds he had no clue what it was. He glanced around and sniffed the air and then turned back to the girl. He sniffed in her general direction and winced as he caught a whiff of the smell again. The smell was strange almost unearthly. He mentally shook of the shock and reached his hand out to her again. I'll never understand why girls where wierd perfumes. He thought as he looked at her again. "I'm sorry for falling asleep in the chair." he said sheepishly,"and the sniffing, I've got...uh allergies."

Bella looked up at the sound of a voice, realizing that she had disturbed the guy.
"It's fine that you fell asleep in the chair," she said, "it is quite boring here -- just don't tell the owner I said that," she laughed, taking his hand. Allergies? she thought. That wasn't usually a problem in this area due to all the rain. Then she registered the slight difference in the temperature of his skin. It wasn't as hot as Jacob's nor was it a normal human temperature.
Deciding to steer her thoughts in another direction before she said something she shouldn't, she settled on introductions. "You don't look familiar. You must be new to town?" she asked. "I'm Bella."

Noa pulled Bella up as she grabbed a hold of his hand and smiled that sweet childish smile he usually had on his mature face. "Don't worry I won't." he said as he shoved his hands into his jacket pockets. He watched her look at him and suddenly felt nervous. Crap why did I say allergies! There is no way some one could have allergies in this place... Well there is. Noa cringed as he forced his mind to cease all functions except for the basics.
Although he had been around other "werewolves" he had never registered the fact that he was hotter than other people. While most of them ran at 108 Noa ran just a little bit under but it was still hard to tell the difference. "I'm Noa." he said as he got his mind back on track. "I just moved over into the La Push reservation with my mom." he said as he pointed to the russet skinned woman in the back. He then gestured to his own fairly pale skin and smiled. "Mom takes me down here to Forks almost every day because a few of the guys on the rez don't like me because I'm only half Quileute." He said telling the half truth that he had to get used to saying.

La Push? Half Quileute? Hotter than normal body temperature? Interesting.
"Ah, my friend Jacob lives in La Push. I hope he isn't giving you any problems," she said, shaking her head. "That's just something that I don't get -- just because you're only part something is no reason to be disrespected by either side."
Sighing, she looked around at the unfinished floor. Shrugging her shoulders, she bypassed the wet part of the floor and headed to the closet to put the cleaning stuff up. Turning around, she picked up the hand sanitizer and squirted some into the palm of her hand.
"So, Noa, what kind of things are you into?" she asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Jacob...Jacob." Noa said as he ran through a list of names of people who he had met. He had met Sam and Billy....Wait he did recall Jacob. The image of a large Red wolf jumped into his mind and he shuddered slightly. It was hard to imagine the boy who turned into that wolf especially since the image of the russet wolf running alongside him was ingrained into his mind."Yeah I think I've met him once or twice." He said as he looked at Bella. Noa thought for a few seconds as a flash of another wolf's memories entered his mind.
He blinked as he realized that he had seen the memory when he first came to La Push and was running with the pack. It was a memory with Jacob telling the girl in front of him about a Quileute legend. Noa didn't know of the legend but it was strange being able to remember how Jacob felt. He stopped thinking of Jacob and Bella and then turned his attention back towards himself."Oh well I'm really into music. I used to be in a band until me and my mom moved down here." he said as he moved his hands from his pockets and let them sway at his side.

Bella watched as Noa seemed to run through everyone that he had met. She smiled, slightly amused as he seemed to have remembered something.
"Yeah I think I've met him once or twice."
Bella nodded. "He tends to lock himself away in his garage when he's not hanging around with me or the rest of the p...with Sam, Quil, Embry...the La Push group," she said. She had almost made a mistake -- whether she suspected Noa was a wolf or not -- she wasn't about to give away the secret.
"Music, huh? What kind of music did your band play?" she asked.

Noa nodded as he remembered someone talking about Jacob building his own car. "I've met Sam.' he said abruptly as he thought of his packs Alpha male. "I'm not to sure about the other guys." he said as he tried to imagine the other wolves from the pack. He hunched his shoulders as he realized that Sam, Billy, and Jacob were the only people who he could remember. He winced again when he realized that he wouldn't get to know any of them. His mother had decided that he should go to the high school in Forks and join some sports down on the reservation.
Noa was paying so much attention to the fact that he had to go to a different school that he didn't question the pause in her sentence.
"Music, huh? What kind of music did your band play?"
Noa looked over at Bella and smiled sheepishly. "Um well we kinda played stuff similar to a band called Gym Class Heroes. So basically it was hip hop with punk and rock instruments thrown in." he said as he remember his other band mates. He let out a soft sigh as he wished he could be back in Zion with them. "We actually won a battle of the bands contest before I moved out here."

Bella nodded. "I've heard some of their stuff," she said softly.
She didn't have the heart to tell him that she had heard the same song from them so much that she was annoyed by them. So she smiled and said, "You all must have been pretty good to wind a Battle of the Bands. Maybe I can hear something sometime?" she asked. She had really developed a love for music since she met Edward -- really who couldn't with his collection?
Reaching under the counter, she pulled out a rag and a spray bottle. Spraying some of the cleaner onto the counter, she began pulling the rag back and forth. Glancing to the back of the store, she saw that Noa's mother was still engrossed in whatever she was looking at.
"Any idea what your mom is looking for?" she asked, nodding in her direction.

Alec strolled through the doors of Newton's Outfitters, glancing around. He had been traveling for sometime now, and at the first sign of any store, he had jumped at the chance. Alec glanced around, a bored look on his face. In one corner, there were two adults discussing with an undoubtedly boring topic. In the other side of the store, Alec spotted two teenagers, around maybe his age. It didn't take even a moment to make his decision. He hesitantly walked across the store, looking each of the teens over. But the boy caught Alec's attention the most. He smelled terrible. Alec sucked his breath in, not breathing, but kept his chest moving as if he were. That would work for a short time, at least. "Any idea what your mom is looking for?" The girl asked, gesturing with her head toward the adults, directing her question toward the other teenager. Alec ran his story through his head. Just passing through, going to Oregon to meet family... Alec repeated over and over, until it was engraved inside his head. Alec could not make any mistakes. He stepped forward. Maybe one of them could direct him toward a trail, so Alec could finally hunt. He blinked once, to make sure his blue/green contacts were still in place "Hello," he said, tugging his mouth into a small smile.

I parked my car in front of newtons outfitters hoping to find something to camp with this weekend with Sam. He was going to take a break from the pack for a cozy night camping. I didn't have to worry about blankets or such, Sam was like my personal heater. I made my way through the entrance and saw only a few people inside. I tried to ignore everybody since Sam, and I would be leaving shortly. But I noticed a young boy Sam had mentioned once, or twice. I decided to say Hello, at least to Bella. I had nothing against her or any vampire in fact. Unless they were to damage someone I know, and love.. Then i might be a little angry. "Hey Vamp-" I cut off shortly, cleared my throat, and restated the sentence. "Hey Bells, How are you?" Trying to make a quick conversation since i had been out of the loop for so long. "Sam and I are going camping tonight. I'm so excited it's been so long since we've been alone." I emphisized the alone a little bit more than necessary, but I let it be.

Bella nodded to the guy as he stepped into the store. There was something slightly off about him, but she wasn't going to mention anything -- she would just keep an eye on him. She nodded a greeting in his direction and then jumped as Emily entered directly behind him.
"Hey vamp...hey Bells, how are you?"
Was it her imagination or had Emily been about ready to call her a vampire? Bella shook it off, making a mental note to ask Alice if she saw Bella changing anytime in the near future.
"I'm doing alright, a few bumps and bruises as usual -- nothing that I can't handle. How about you Emily? I bet you're excited to get Sam alone for a while," she said with a smile.

I blushed a little at the thought of what may or may not happen at the campsite. "Sorry if I scared you.. It's my bad. And Yes, I'm planning on having a tad bit of fun while i'm there." I said with a soft comforting smile, maybe not for Bella but for myself it was.
only a few bumps and bruises nothing I can't handle. Bella had said.
"Sounds like your doing just fine if your still in the need for a band-aid!" I giggled a little.

Bella rolled her eyes and smiled at Emily. She really was a sweet girl that Bella had grown quite comfortable with. Being mindful of the other people in the store she said, "Yes, well, the decision hasn't been finalized yet," she said with a shrug.
"Though I'm sure you will know as soon as it is. Jacob's going to have a cow when it happens, I'm sure," she said, finishing with cleaning the counter. Now she had nothing to do to keep her hands busy with, she stuffed them into the pockets of her jeans and rested against the wall.
