Nichita is a naturally happy person. She is very outgoing and has a great sense of humor even though she isn't very funny. She will go out of her way to protect those who she cares about.
History:
Nichita Michelle Peone was born to Andrew Malone and Nomi Peone on April 7, 1990, three minutes before her sister Nakita. From the moment they were born they were showered with nothing but love and affection. From the time that they could understand what was being said, their mother would tell them the story of how their parents met.
It had been a stormy night when Nomi had been backed into a corner by a couple vampires. They were out for blood and the fact that Nomi was a werewolf didn't work in her favor. Nomi had been fighting as hard as she could, but she was going down fast. Just when she had given up, the vampires let up on her. She had passed out before she had found out what had happened.
She woke up the next morning in a dark, strange apartment. Turns out that Andrew Malone, a vampire that she had run into before in the past. They spent the day talking and the rest was history. They got used to each other, the smells not as bothersome as they once would have been and, though they were supposed to be mortal enemies, they fell in love.
They considered getting married for a while, but then Nomi got pregnant. This was the deciding factor : they decided not to get married because it was dangerous and they didn't want to put children in the middle of that.
Every day they heard that story and everyday Nomi's smile got bigger as she told it. Life was perfect until July of 2006.
Word had gotten out about Andrew and Nomi and the Volturi were none too happy about it. It was a stormy night when Nichita's life got turned upside down.
When she thinks on it now, she finds it ironic how her parents lives ended the way they began : on a stormy night. Nichita had been late getting home from work and was greeted with screaming and chaos. She watched through a window as her parents were torn to bits and set on fire in their living room. This happened at the same time that she realized her vampire abilities.
A growl had ripped from her throat and she raised a hand, a bolt of lightening striking it and getting absorbed into her body. She then kicked the front door in and placed her hands in front of her, absorbing the energy (or more likely the adrenaline) from the Volturi that stood in the living room. It wouldn't kill them and they would recover from it quickly, but it bought her enough time to take out two of them and toss them in the fire. Turning on the others, she smiled as they backed out of the house and disappeared into the night.
She looked for her sister for a week with no luck. Nakita wasn't dead..she would feel it if she was. Reassured that Nakita was alive and somewhere out there, Nichita made for the woods. She shed her clothes, tying them to her ankle, and willed herself to change. Once in her wolf form (black wolf with a silver/white snout) she headed out of town. She wasn't sure where she was going, but she knew that she had to get out of Detroit.
Now she found herself in Forks and wasn't sure where to go from here. She was just glad that by being a hybrid she was able to pick out the scents of both vampire and werewolf, but neither scent bothered her as it would if she were just one or the other. This works the other way around also : werewolves and vampires can only detect their specific scent on her.
[EDIT]
Nichita can live on both human food, raw meat (only in her wolf form), and blood. She prefers human food but will have either of the other two only if she absolutely has to. She refuses to feed on human blood, keeping her diet strictly to human food and animals. Also, she isn't venemous (she is unable to turn humans into vampires).

Brandy had quickly learned to not trust anybody. Things were always so much simpler that way. Even though it could get lonely, it eliminated the chance to get hurt. And to survive in these times, no one could risk getting hurt.
She sighed as she walked through the streets of Radcliffe, Kentucky. She had to move quickly if she wanted to get back to the shelter. Hefting the bags of supplies higher on her back, she picked up the pace. The calm wouldn't last long, she was just lucky that the rare eye in this neverending storm seemed to be on her side so far.
She reached the walkway to the shelter just as the sky began to darken. Growling slightly under her breath, she broke into a run. Throwing the door open, she ignored the startled looks. She set the bags down and then closed and barricaded said door.
"This one is looking like it's going to be the worst one yet," she addressed the room. It was ironic how she became the leader, the protector, of this group of people considering her lack of an ability to trust anymore. "Here," she muttered, throwing a bag to the group of five adults in the corner. "Moderation...I have no idea when I'll be able to go back out," she said as the wind howled.
Then, ignoring their protests, she walked into the next room and smiled at this group of fifteen. "Hey guys, I got some food. Who's hungry?" she asked. Laughing softly as they ran at her, she said, "Hey, easy. There's enough for everyone. But we have to be careful. We don't want to eat too fast because we don't want to end up with tummy aches and we don't want to eat too much because we want to make sure that we have enough to last until whenever I can go get more, okay?" she asked as she ruffled the hair on the head closest to her.
She grinned as they nodded in enthusiasm and began passing out portions of food. What? She said she couldn't trust anybody, but she wasn't a b!tch. She had a soft spot for children, she couldn't leave them to fend for themselves.
