Strengths & Weaknesses: Alec's strengths are that he can remain in control. He's always calm and cool, but aware and ready. In one moment he can be like a staute, and in the next, he's attacking. He knows when and when not to use his power, and knows his place with it. Alec's weakness is that he can be too emotionless, and can seem almost robotic, on the outside. On the inside is a much different story...
Personality: Alec doesn't like showing emotions, and keeps much of it locked inside. He is very serious and businesslike, and to some who didn't know him well, distant. He tries to think little of feelings, since Aro can get inside his head with a simple touch. He acts on instinct and is very aware of what's happening around him.
History: Alec and his twin sister, Jane, were burned at stake for being witches. Unknown to them, Aro, a vampire, had been watching them for sometime. He had planned to change them both one day, becuase of their great potential powers. But the town's people changed everything, and Aro was frced to change the gifted twins then, slaughtering the entire town in the meantime.
After discovering their powers, they joined the Volturri. Alec, with his power of freezing motions, actions and powers as the others killed or took, left him as one of the most powerful members of the guard. He drunk human blood, and never thought otherwise of it. It was natural to him. He didn't really have much memory of the past, except being burned at stake.

Alec paced the castle floors, watching the floor intently. Alec's eyes were a pitch black, and he anxiously awaited the next arrival of humans. It had been nearly a week, and Alec's throat burned for the sweet liquid. Groaning, he glanced up at a old grandfather clock, ticking away mindlessly. It shouldn't be too long now, he thought, grinning softly.
Just as he thought that, a smell crashed into him, feeling his nose with the delicious scent. The drafting smell and the clap of high heels against the stone told him one thing: Heidi was back.
Alec joined the small crowd gathered in the foyer. The confused humans shuffled around nervously, glancing from us to the walls. And before they knew it, we were attacking.
For a moment, Alec considered using his power to stun one unexpecting human, giving them an utterly painless death. But grinning, he muttered, "not a chance," under his breath, and leaped towards his first victim.
It was a young man, not more than 20. He screamed, and tried to run. Alec laughed out loud, tackling the man, enjoying the sound of bones crunching. The man was shaking in fear, and clamped his eyes close. Leaning down, Alec sunk his teeth into the tender skin of his neck, and drained the man of his sweet blood.
Wiping a spot of blood from his lip, Alec gracefully rose, searching for his next victim.
