Rosalie sighed at Alice's comment. It was the one time she was really jealous of her "sister." It would be nice to be able to know exactly how clothing looked before trying it on. Trying on the was the one part of shopping Rosalie hated.
She pulledthe curtain closed in the dressing room and carefully slipped the garment on. Alice was right, it did look fabulous.
"I'll take it." She declared as she opened the curtain. "Now I just need a few things to go with it."

Alexis let the two girls converse as she scoured for the ballet flats she was thinking of. Sometimes, her mind only went into fashion zone and that's where she had settled now.
"Here you go." She smiled, grabbing the shoes from a low rack and turning to the girl with the blue top. The silver ones actually looked like ballet slippers while the green ones were more of just flat shoes.
"I'm partial to the silver pair myself."
Alexis breezed passed the girl and over to a rack of bags on the other side of the room.
"Try this." She held out a small silver clutch bag to the girl in the red dress. "Or do you prefer silver snakeskin? I have that too. It's bigger though, more of a day bag, but still nice. Oh, and the shoes."
Alexis intercepted the pair as she turned to a shelf directly in front of her. She offered them out as well. Part of her wondered if the girls had picked up on her vampire auroras, but fashion zone seemed to be washing out vampire brain for the moment.

Alice took the two pairs of shoes from Alexis and walked over to the dressing rooms to take a spot on one of the chairs outside. She curled up and seemed to be debating which ones to try on first when Rose announced she wanted to dress. She grinned up at her sister. "I thought you would," she said with a wink.
She watched as Alexis ran about babbling on about handbags. Alice glanced at her sister. There was no doubt that she had picked up on a few things about their exciting store owner like Alice had.

Rosalie took the bag that the shop owner held out to her. It was a gorgous little bag. She'd find a use for it even if it meant she and Emmett would have to go out somewhere special.
"I want to see the other one too." She told Alexis. "Oh, I'm Rosalie by the way. And this is my sister Alice."
Rosalie sat down on a round purple cushioned stool to put on the shoes. They did look excellent with the dress.
"How is it, Alice?" She caught the look on Alice's face. Rosalie raised an eyebrow. She was certainly picking up on some interesting vibes around them. Ms. London certainly wasn't giving off a human aura.
"When did you get into town, Ms. London?"

Satisfied with the girls enjoying their purchases, Alexis leaned back against the store's counter and smiled. She was good at this. Well, she was good at everything she did, but this was one of her specialities.
"A short while ago." Alexis responded to the girl who had introduced herself as Rosalie. "I was living in Alaska, but it didn't do anything for me-not my style, as you can see."
She gestured around the shop. Alexis cringed slightly as she thought about all the hassle she'd gone through with the vampires she'd been with in Alaska.
"And the friends I was with were.....not the best of company. I'm enjoying Forks thus far. It seems like a fair little town."

Alice smiled at her sister, "It looks fab Rose," she said before walking over to her and tugging at a few places to make sure it was perfect. She listened as Rosalie asked the woman when she'd gotten to town.
Alaska huh? Wonder is she knew the Denali clan...
"It's a great town. It may be small but there's always something to occupy you," she said. Though for the Cullens it was mainly watching out for Bella, but she didn't think that was mentionable.

Alexis was momentarily distracted by a misplaced strand of beads hanging from a small rack on the counter. She was the only obsessive complusive vampire she'd ever met.
"It does." She turned back to the girls' dress conversation. "You'd be the bell of the ball in that outfit."
Alexis smoothed her unruffed hair. Alaska was a popular place for vampires. She didn't know much about the Cullens, but after her conversation with Carlisle, she guessed they hadn't run with the same crowds.
"Have you been to Alaska? It's a lovely area."

Rosalie rolled her eyes. One because Alice was touching her clothes (or clothes that would soon become hers) and two because most of her time was spent helping the family watch out for Bella Swan.
"Yes, we keep quite busy. Sometimes too busy." Rosalie shot Alice a knowing look.
"We've spent time in Alaska." Rosalie turned off her thoughts of clothes and Bella. "I wonder if we've ever ecountered some of the same people."
