Jasper sat on the edge of the couch with a light smile as Rosalie began to complain about them being late to the lunch table again.
"It totally slipped my mind. I forgot we all live on Rosalie time...you'll have to forgive me Rose," Jasper said with a small smile. His head turned immediately towards the door way as he heard Alice's voice ring out through the house. Jasper shook his head lightly as Alice produced yet another jacket she had to add to her collection but he would keep silent about it for now anyways.
"Good team work there darlin," Jasper replied with a smile as Alice informed him that he was on his own as far as getting back on Rosalie's good graces.

Rosalie considered the statement and decided the jacket was worth it. She could always "forget" to return it anyway. Afterall, if Alice wanted it back so badly, she knew where Rosalie lived.
"All right, I'll consider it since the jacket has come into play. You, well, I'll get over it eventually...I guess." She gave Jasper a smug smirk before turning back to Esme.
"So I suppose that was the extent of my day. They kept me waiting for lunch. It's a good thing I'm not human, or else I would have starved to death waiting for them."
She gave her brother and sister a quick wink before settling back into her seat.

Esme simply watched her children chat back and forth. Some things no matter how old they were would never change. That always put a smile on her face though she probably shouldn't have been smiling due to the argument they were having.
"Alice if you'd like a watch, I have a watch box that contains a wide variety of watches. That is a lovely jacket, I'm sure the both of you will enjoy it greatly. Are any of you going to share the events which occurred after making Rose wait for you two during lunch?" Esme asked in a calm voice enjoying her children's company.

Jasper smiled lightly as Rosalie declared that she would eventually forgive him fr making him wait. Knowing Rosalie nthat was good enough as a forgiven he was going to recieve without buying her clothes and he would leave that up to Alice to do.
"I am sure if you were human you wouldn't waste away Rose...being the independent one you are I am sure eating your young would be a route to survival," Jasper said with a small laugh as he looked over at Alice for a moment just simply looking at her; something he never got tired of doing.
His attention turned back to Esme as she asked what had made them keep Rosalie waiting for them at lunch.
"Truthfully I have not a clue suppose I was just going slower then normal she wasn't waiitng all that long I am sure the dramatics are merely for effect," Jasper said with a light shrug.
